Music Favorite: “Collide in the Sky.” – Pierce The Veil, 2019

Holla, kumusta ka na?

A day before planning on this website. I had the thought of sharing of my music taste. During my stay in the Philippines, and meeting new faces alot were asking, “What music genre do you originally listen to?” As I think of that question, it came through my mind, “I listen to these!” And yes, you may be surprised on my music taste, but I am more surprised, as you did not know or notice it. Hehe!

A quick background throughout junior year of high school. I enjoy the post-hardcore rock and appreciate the deliver of songs. It can be disturbing, as for beginners to listen to, but I truly enjoy listening to these. Pierce the Veil is a band originated in San Diego, CA. This was the first band I listened to while in my seventh grade. I love the songs they produced more specifically to this album, “Collide in the Sky.” Which I memorized every lyric of every song. My sisters would listen along with me, including dad, but mom is not in the songs, she’s more on the mellow side.

A song I loved singing is, “I’m Low On Gas and You Need a Jacket.” It is a ‘very’ long title, but worth to listen too. It’s a touch of romance but also remembering the person you missed.

If you listen to the song, “I’m Low on Gas and You Need a Jacket.” Head up to the whole album of “Collide in the Sky.” Listen to it, you will appreciate the songs they deliver, the emotions and the symbolic meaning of each title. If you did, leave a comment! Let me know what is your favorite song and what bands do you prefer.
