Hello! I’m Jeth Haines Dilag currently studying in nursing school, working as a nursing researcher and nursing content creation and volunteering as a teacher for ecclesiastical callings. I have a thing for writing impressions and inspirations, I do hope this can make you feel more connected in a way I can connect to you as well.
I want to further acknowledge my parents continuously teach and remind me of alot of things, for my sisters for continuing bringing joy and comfort, for my relatives for being supportive and long time friends continuous to be there. Thank you!
Truly an emotional week after celebrating my 25th birthday. I’ve come to a point in my life that I should be reading more church resources as a strength for this year. I think these challenging times reminds us to make reading materials more important and to be constant with our connection with Heavenly Father despite having imperfections and immoral sins. I do believe God opens His hands to those who need Him, constantly wanting to understand life ahead and understanding His grace. It is a reminder that we should keep our communication to Him and God communicates us back through these resources, because these are revelations and inspirations through Him and a living connection that He is real and there and He will never abandoned us.
Goal:
1. I’ll read General Conference Talks based Alphabetically
2. Write down my impressions
3. Read an author and the books provided
I couldn’t write the whole week of what really happened, but to sum everything my Dad came back home and the house felt better. It felt like we’re complete and we’re enjoying every bit of time we have with dad before he goes back to the middle east. Moments like this are really important, you want to be there for the person and make the memory worth to be remembered. I think the best moments we shared were eating different kinds of meals from vast countries. Since dad’s from the middle east we get to eat Arabian food really good, and Indian too. I think the kicker were the spices, I would cough and drink water because of the amount of spices mixed with the meals. I find it very lovely and appreciate it. But! I do need to work out myself that if I go to any of these countries I can get used with the meals.
Interestingly, the language is interesting too. But! Dad doesn’t push us to learn right away. Honestly, I would love to learn it on my free time, because I feel like part of going to a country it would be fun to also communicate with their own language. I think the key here is practice and confidence, there might be few embarrassing pronunciation but I feel like not a big deal, it can be worked on eventually.
Since I earn from work I get to buy new clothes. I don’t have the proper time to buy clothes right away because I’m being frugal or sometimes I’m just really broke and can’t afford of things I want. So when I have money I make sure I think twice and thrice on my spending. I think my dad finds it amazing, I don’t really ask for money because I try to find ways and I don’t want to be spoiled too. Kinda like a mindset I have growing up and he likes it but he finds it challenging because I don’t open up when I need too. But going back, I purchased clothes and donate clothes because it was so last season. It felt great and relieved that my room won’t be stocked by old and unused clothes.
I think it’s pretty much of it. I think I’ll share stuff I read daily soon! But thanks for reading the entry!
